Not just because you take forever to reply, but also because you don’t put in any effort in your replies. If you aren’t going to put in any effort in your replies, then you might as well tell me that you don’t want to talk to me. I don’t want to talk to someone that doesn’t want to talk to me. that one person that will take forever to get over. No matter how many times you say you’re done with him/her, you know you don’t mean it. No matter how much they’ve hurt you. There is always gonna be that little feeling for them. You will check up on their page, think about the past memories, and remember the old conversations. As much as you want to move on, it’s not as easy as it sounds.

it proves that you’re mature enough to stay friends. just because the relationship failed doesn’t mean the friendship should. i mean, it all started from friendship after all. it’s nice seeing two people who used to be a couple manage to stay friends, or even bestfriends after the breakup.

Everyone wants to have someone be there for them. Whether its the good times or the bad times. But keep in mind that there’s no rush. You shouldn’t be with someone just for that reason either. Make sure you truly love them before getting together. Also, love because you’re ready, not because you’re lonely. It’ll just hurt both of you at the end if you rush through to be in a relationship.
